This week's Endeavour features a siege in a bank which looks suspiciously like the Weston Library to me. And a rather lovely little nod to Pterry.

Mainly, though, it leaves me more convinced than ever that you never mess with Roger Allam when he's wearing his Hat.

I haven't caught up with the last one - Daughter and I are a week behind watching on Monday nights - but I've enjoyed little references to Morse and Lewis. I'm assuming the chap called Hanbury referred to by one of the posh set in episode 1 as having "married an actress" is the Lord Hanbury who gets murdered by Patricia Hodge in The Ghost in the Machine in 1980-something.

Ah, I hadn't spotted Lord Hanbury, though I spotted Hathaway's dad in last week's (which we thought was almost as silly as Lewis).
