Because we had Faculty Board this afternoon, and I have to be there as I'm secretary, I couldn't take the afternoon off to go to London and be in the audience for T's heat of Brain of Britain. I'm not sure I would really have wanted to as it would have been horribly tense (I could barely watch him on Only Connect last year when I knew the results of all his games), but I would have liked to be there for support.
In an attempt not to spend the evening nervously refreshing social media feeds full of Brexit, Trump and the deaths of not one but two icons of the 90s (seriously, Keith from the Prodigy *and* Luke Perry?!) I have invented the game of Klingon Songbook over on Twitter and am very pleased that people I don't even know are joining in. And now I think I may have to go and watch Trials and Tribbleations after I've eaten my ravioli.
