My rubric pre-vaccination was basically, if it involved staying in an enclosed space (with anything resembling a crowd) for an appreciable amount of time, then I wasn't doing it. I have, for the moment, gone back to that in public spaces.
I'd meet friends (in whatever venue, be it garden or in the house) if they're vaccinated. If not, nope. (This is in part because of my under-3-years-old niece and nephew, who I see about once a week, and would like not to be a vector for.)
While waiting to get my second jab, I was most looking forward to just being able to go to X Place (bookstore, thrift shop, etc) and hang out as long as I wanted, but Delta's put rather a crimp in that. (It's *probably* fine, and I'm doing more "non-essential" shopping than I was, just, not *lingering*.)
I may well do public transport come the fall, for one class a week, but it's more likely I'll drive in.
