Good Omens (180/365)

I'm feeling somewhat ambivalent about the news that there will be a second series of Good Omens, though I know that Pterry and Neil Gaiman had discussed writing a sequel so I assume it's based on their ideas. And John Finnemore seems to be on board as co-writer with Gaiman, which sounds like a good thing.

Speaking of John Finnemore, he's written a blog post about how to listen to series 9 of John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme, with a link to this fan-made resource which summarises all of the sketches and lets you search by character and view them in broadcast or chronological order. Potentially useful for those who might be considering fic. (I hope someone is considering fic.)

I am quite pleased about the Good Omens news, but that is because I found Tennant and particularly Sheen, utterly charming as Crowley and Aziraphale, and would frankly watch them pottering about in a bookshop and going out for dinner if someone wrote decent dialogue for it!

That is an excellent resource. I did also finish my what happens in each episode guide, but mine is not clickable or chronological. I find I would also like a list of everyone's dates and may have to write my own.

I too am not enirely convinced by the prospect of a second series of Good Omens, but added Finnemore is an interesting idea. (Added Finnemore is always an interesting idea....)

And thank you for the links: I've been dithering about getting down to documenting how the series works--and now I don't have to!

Yeah, I'm ambivalent about this one too - everyone else seems to adore his stuff but I'm not a big Gaiman fan, and have always assumed it was the Pterry factor that made me like Good Omens so much. Hopefully enough of his ideas are in this to make it work.
