Entirely coincidental! I bought the yarn years ago (the purple first, then I wasn't sure it was quite enough so bought the other colours to tone with it - originally I planned a cardigan with birds on the yoke but that's not something I'd wear now). It did strike me it looked a bit like a pride flag, but I didn't think the colours were quite right for any of them.
