white_hartPerusing the reveals, I now see that not only the Machineries of Empire story I recced, but a couple of others I liked as well, were in fact by Yoon Ha Lee. Which explains why they felt so like canon, really...
Also, the brilliant Margery Kempe fic is by Naomi Kritzer, who I’ve also enjoyed a couple of pro short stories by and whose novel I am now bumping up my “must buy one of these days” list.
