Away (244/365)

We are in Norfolk, at my parents', after a tedious if not actually terrible drive. There may be a lorry driver shortage but there certainly didn't seem to be any shortage of lorries on the A14. Mostly overtaking each other at 55mph.

Life chez parents is much as normal. My dad is sleepier than ever and conversation often deteriorates into a round of suggestions as to what the word he's looking for might be, rather as though our lives were being scripted by John Finnemore, but they seem to be in good spirits and it's nice to be here.
