Apr. 24th, 2021 07:46 pmBy the time I went to bed last night I was feeling a bit fluey. I slept badly (possibly jab-related but equally possibly not) and woke up at 7am with a sore arm and a splitting headache and a generally creaky and achy feeling, but I took two paracetamol and dozed off again while listening to a podcast and by 8am the creaking and aching had gone and the headache had dulled. It faded completely during the morning, though my arm is still sore and I feel very tired (but when don't I?).
I've still managed to have a reasonably productive day, including braving the local high street to get a new battery fitted in the watch I bought in the January sales and the strap I'd fitted to my other watch refitted after it came off yesterday, and ordering new bedclothes to replace the ones which are falling apart to the point of being beyond repair (we have had them eighteen and a half years, so this doesn't seem entirely unreasonable). It would have been even more productive if it hadn't involved spending an hour barely moving on the A34 while attempting to get to Kennington to swim, but I suppose you can't have everything (and it was a lovely swim once I got there, at least).
