white_hartThe weather forecast today was for heavy rain, but in fact it was a lovely sunny afternoon, and the river was beautifully quiet (unlike yesterday, when the warm weather seemed to have brought lots of people out). We swam from the steps down to the gate and I found myself wishing I'd worn my mirrored goggles instead of the plain ones.
Next time we swim, it will be autumn. It was good to have such a beautiful day and a peaceful swim to round off a summer of swimming.
