Putting the tea in teetotal (225/365)

I always have several types of loose-leaf tea at home: normally Early Grey, for first thing in the morning; Ceylon Orange Pekoe, for most of the day; Assam Flowery, which is a good afternoon tea; and black chai, which is lovely after dinner. I quite often have a green tea as well, and I also have some blueberry rooibos which was probably a mistake (I had a sample, and liked it enough to buy 125g but it lasts forever).

A few months ago, though, one of my swimming friends mentioned that she'd signed up for Team Tea's monthly tea club. I liked the idea of a tea club, so thought I'd give it a try, and have been very much enjoying the chance to sample different teas every month. (They come in lovely little slide tins, which are also useful to hold pins, sewing machine needles, and many other things, though I am getting a bit inundated now.) I've also bought larger tins of a few favourites: Oxford Strong, a tea which packs the caffeine punch of a morning cup of coffee; Rose Congou, which smells like Turkish Delight; and Moroccan mint green tea. (As well as loving the tea, I'm really impressed by the customer service; I had an order posted last Monday which went astray, and when I emailed her this Monday she immediately packed up a replacement and dropped it off at my house that afternoon.)

I've also bought extra lids for a set of stacking tea tins that I bought years ago but which turned out not to work brilliantly stacked, and used them to take some of my favourites to work. I spent Tuesday drinking rose congou, Wednesday Moroccan mint and Thursday drinking almost the last of the Pu-erh from last month's club, which makes about five cups per spoonful and is therefore fantastic to drink through a day in the office as long as I don't absent-mindedly throw the leaves away after one cup (which I have done before now).
