Come Tumbling Down is the fifth of Seanan McGuire's Wayward Children novellas. It returns to the story of Jack and Jill Wolcott, who were introduced in Every Heart a Doorway and the main focus of the prequel Down Among the Sticks and Bones, and although I haven't read the third and fourth books I thought it would probably be OK to go straight to this one. (There were definitely references to events between Every Heart A Doorway and this book, but I didn't feel like I was missing anything vital, or being spoiled for the books I haven't read yet.)

In Come Tumbling Down, Jack returns to Eleanor West's school, seeking help, and her friends from the school travel with her to the Moors to help her deal with the consequences of her sister's actions there. It isn't quite as atmospheric as Down Among the Sticks and Bones, but it's an entertaining quest story with some interesting things to say about identity, and I enjoyed seeing more of the Moors, and getting to view it through different eyes.
