End of term (71/365)
Mar. 12th, 2021 07:07 pmIt's Friday of week 8, which means we have actually made it to the end of term. I haven't actually written the minutes of the last committee meeting of term, or got very far with working out a long-term solution for my personnel headaches, but I am sort of vaguely on top of things and have made a start on trying to get various ducks in a row for next term.
Thanks to C, I also have a beautifully categorised inbox which makes it easier to see at a glance which emails I need to focus on, which I should read sometime and which I can safely ignore. I'm also experimenting with using a small notebook for daily to-do lists rather than the Outlook tasks list. Having things crossed off in a notebook does give a more concrete sense of achievement, and being able to add things to the list as they come up in meetings rather than writing them in my big notebook and then having to remember to transfer them to the task list does seem to be helping a bit with avoiding the problem of forgetting them in between writing them down and the meeting finishing.
And I only have seven more working days before I'm on leave for nearly a fortnight!
