20-minute swim in the river in the sunshine. While we were getting changed afterwards two young women cycled up, stripped off, waded into the water (around 8 or 9 degrees) stark naked and then got out again quickly, pronouncing their hangovers gone. We applauded.

Cut my hair again, after looking in the mirror and realising it had somehow managed to grow into a mullet.

Made another pair of space pants (using a different pattern) and a pizza, and watched a film (Palm Springs; entertaining enough but I'm inclined to feel that its inclusion on the shortlist for the Best Dramatic Presentation: Long Form Hugo owes more to the very small number of films that have come out in the last year than to the film's actual merit).

Nearly forgot to post; just sneaking this in under the wire before I go to sleep.

I felt similarly about Palm Springs, though I did enjoy that it was the female character who did the science and solving.

Yes, that was good. The male character was (a) a bit of a dick and (b) not really much of a character at all?, which contributed to the overall feeling of "yes, but it's not like Groundhog Day actually needed a remake, did it?".

The time I saw similar it was a group of young men running into the North Sea starkers in the snow... That I thought was just nuts but a river in the sunshine sounds much more reasonable!

I'm not sure they were actually entirely sober, tbh. Though the river is lovely, even if I'm currently very happy to stick with a bit more neoprene.

I'm coming to the conclusion that I'm just going to let my own grow out again.

Being shorter has been fun, but..........

I really hate having mine long; I bought clippers last night because I knew that not being able to get a haircut every six weeks ago and having it get long would make me really unhappy.
