It says everything about how today has been that when I tried to bring some clarity to one of the knottier problems that has been going round and round in my head for months by writing down the options I ended up adding an extra one, "take off and nuke it from orbit". Which has a lot to recommend it, but probably isn't actually compliant with employment (or indeed other) law.

On the other hand, I did have a very helpful conversation about it with one of the academic leads, and I think I do know what needs to be done. I just don't quite know how to do it...

Knowing what needs to be done is still an excellent start, though. I hope Wednesday is looking better.

Go you for getting a start on it, though! And hopefully the horrid miasma of the orange ooze no longer being quite so front and centre, you'll have the brain space to figure out the how.
