I've been very happily wearing glasses for distance since I was 11, and even getting varifocals wasn't too bad after the initial adjustment, but this feels like a lot. (My head of department said that she had lots of problems in her 40s as her long sight and short sight slugged it out, but that it eventually balanced itself out and she no longer needs glasses at all, so maybe this is only temporary?)

You'd need some kind of system where the lenses you didn't need rotated out of the way. But that would be even more Professor Branestawn. Not that that's necessarily a bad look, of course.

I hope you can find some kind of solution for yours!
