I am glad that you have managed to get an Oxford jab (and I can't think that driving back an hour from MK after having a vaccine is a brilliant idea road safety-wise TBH), but I'm not sure that that and swimming really makes up for a rotten day. I'm very sorry about your knitting friend, that must have been quite a shock, and very sad.
