Stationery (91/365)

I appear to have spent most of my time off work ordering new stationery. First I ordered I ordered a pretty folder (with matching dividers) for my MyBodyModel templates and to use as a craft project journal. (I was originally looking for a notebook but worried about it getting too bulky if I stuck lots of things into it, so I went for a folder that looked as little like a work file as possible.) Then I ordered some pretty washi tape to stick traced drawings, or cut-outs of pattern schematics, onto pages, along with some new fountain-pen ink (in Aurora Borealis, which is a lovely greeny-blue). And then today I found a stash of standard ink cartridges in various colours and, obviously, had to order a new pen for them to go in as my usual Lamy Safaris don't take them.

This is all, obviously, entirely frivolous, but I do like nice stationery. (And it will be good to have a record of my sewing projects, and a replacement for Ravelry to track knitting projects given that Ravelry have utterly failed to address their accessibility issues so I'm not keen to give them more of my data.)

There is much to be said for nice stationery. I like to stick bits and pieces in my diary, but what with Covid I'm not going anywhere, getting less etc. and I realised that rather than going to the effort of finding things and cutting them out, I could just order some stickers for once. So I did, and it turns out that having the low-effort option always available has been really nice in itself but also inspired me when I'm feeling like doing something that takes a little effort to actually do it.

And enjoy your sewing project tracking. I should do that myself.
