I seem to be having a run of sad fic at the moment (did you see the one I put up last week?). I think it's because it all gets handwaved away by the show itself - what does it matter as long as there's a happy ending? - but there is a lot of hidden sadness.

And I've been convinced that Martha met the Torchwood team during the Year That Never Was and they all died ever since LotTL aired.
