Ah, fair enough. I don't think I'd have read it as 'Cormorant-without-the-t' if it hadn't been for the Robin and the 'Shrike-with-a-t', so possibly the effect will wear off when they're amidst other names. I like the Significant Names (to a point) in the Harry Potter series but thought the effect might grate a bit in a different genre, especially if there was A Theme.
